Hard to pick only 5! / Blushes


This post was initially going to be about my top 5 blush picks but I just couldn't leave any one of these babies out, so here I am with 6 of my favorite blushes!


NARS Lovejoy
This is a very unique color for a blush, it's not pink, nor red or brown. It's a reddish brown with a touch of pink! Lovejoy has been my go-to blush in fall/winter season, it's perfect for both seasons but I can still see myself rocking it during summer nights!

Newest addition to my ever-growing blush collection. I knew I would immediately fall in love with Taj Mahal at first swatch and I did. It does look a tad scary in swatches, both because it's not blended out and because it is a powerful color.

Benefit Coralista
Coralista is made for summer; it's a pretty light coral/peach with just the right amount of shimmer to give a beautiful glow to the face.

MAC Blushbaby
Love me some Blushbaby paired with heavy black/gray smokey eye make-up. It really brings the whole look together!

MAC Dollymix
Dollymix was my first pink MAC blush and it's now my favorite pink blush! I enjoy wearing this when I feel extra girly, I mean look at it, it has 'I am such a girly girl' written all over it!

Anyone that knows me knows that this is my favorite blush ever. It's almost identical to MAC Peaches. Click here to see comparison of the two! If I was to have only one blush on a stranded island, Lover would be the one!

    1 blush in the world????? omg...HMMMMMMMMMMMMM RIGHT now currently its Miliani Baked blush in Luminoso, but I would want NARS Deep Throat mailed to me !!

    Ahhhh I'm drooling over NARS Taj Mahal...I can't believe it was discontinued! And then I was going to buy Lovejoy because I remembered you talking about it, but it was like Benefit Dallas + Nars Luster..both of which I own. But if I had to pick only one blush......hmmmm I think it would be Dallas...or maybe Nars Sin...Or Dior Sugar and Spice...no, never mind I couldn't choose.

    uh ohhh...I don't have Lover, and I do love Peaches :) I think I know what's coming next! Favorite blush in the world..this is really difficult! I would probably have just as hard a time as you--maybe Peaches, actually! (no, no i'm already thinking of others..)

    How on earth did you ever pick just 6?! I'm a total blush addict and I don't know if I could do it. However ... if I HAD to pick it would probably be NARS Mounia, a blush I don't hear raved about that often.

    I love your choices! I'm dying to get my hands on Taj Mahal. If I could only choose 1 blush (let's hope that NEVER happens), it would probably be Korres Natural, but my favorite of the moment is Illamasqua Hussy :) (See how I just made the one blush choice into two anyway? lol)

    I looove Lover too.. I sometimes combine with my MAC Virgin Isle to get that gorgeous corally peach.. Check out the swatch I have of it in my blog.. It's beaaautiful..

    Illamasqua Lover is my all time fave blush ever. It's THE most perfect colour, so if i could only wear one blush for rest of my life it would be this. I've also heard Illamasqua Hussy is good, so i'm keen to try that one now.

    one blush would easily be a peach blush for me, if I had to be specific it would probably be mac peaches. I haven't ever tried illamasqua cause we don't have that in canada, but they look great!
