Beauty blogger confession: I didn't own a single highlighter until I started reading beauty blogs/blogging! Shock horror! After seeing all the beautiful highlighter photos and swatches all over the blogosphere, I knew I had to get my hands on some. Needless to say I, since then, went from one extreme to another and converted into a highlighter addict.

Dior Amber Diamond
Who is surprised? Amber Diamond to me is the queen of all highlighters. It's a very versatile champagne-gold, shimmery highlighter that looks good with pretty much any kind of look. It leaves a nice, subtle light gold sheen on skin. Depending on the look, I also sweep it down the bridge of my nose, on brow bone and upper lip too.

theBalm Betty-Lou Manizer
Depending on your skin tone, this may either be a shimmery gold bronzer, a highlighter or both. I personally am not a fan of shimmery bronzers because I use them to contour my face and wouldn't want shimmer on those areas. For me Betty-Lou Manizer makes a perfect gold highlight. I especially love using it on tanned cheek bones during summer.

Guerlain Meteorites Perles - Teint Beige
In my swatches below Teint Beige looks like I swatched powdered sugar on my hand but that's only because these little shimmery balls contain the tiniest pieces of glitter which my camera just doesn't pick up. (That justifies my need of a new camera!) On my face, however, it's a very subtle sheen that can easily be worn during the day time. I especially love to pair the Meteorites with a matte blush to jazz it up a little!

(Bu da yeni bir kamera ihtiyacim dogruluyor sanirim!) Yuzumde cok, cok hafif bir pirilti birakan Meteorites mat alliklarla cok guzel kombinler yaratiyor.
MAC White Dusk
If you want a J-lo type of glow, then White Dusk is your best friend. It's the epitome of J-lo glow. I wouldn't be surprised to find out this is what her makeup artists use on her. Like the name suggests, it's is silver thus creating more of a cool look. It also works beautifully as under the brow highlighter.
Eger J-lo vari bir isilti istiyorsaniz ve bunu yaratacak aydinlaticiyi hala bulamadiysaniz White Dusk'i denemeden bu arayistan vazgecmeyin derim. Ilk bakista rengi biraz fazla bagiran beyazimsi gumus, hatta biraz da korkunc. Yuzde elmacik kemiklerine cool bir gorunum katmak icin ideal. Ayrica kas alti ve goz pinarini aydinlatmada birebir.
MAC Redhead
Redhead is a shimmery salmon that does a great job adding warmth to my face. It doesn't show up as intense as it looks in my swatches below but leaves a light coral sheen.
Piriltili somon renginde olan Redhead yuzume sicaklik katmakta oldukca basarili. Yuzumde swatchlarimdaki kadar yogun oldugunu soyleyemem. Benim tenimde daha cok acik mercan renginde bir parlaklik birakiyor.
MAC Crew
Crew is a light pinky coral that has very light shimmer, it almost looks matte. It translates on my skin as a very light baby pink. I also do use it as a blush sometimes.
