I'm back!

Hey all! I am finally back in US and back to blogosphere. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your continued support of my blog, even though I have been the baddest blogger ever *bows head in shame* I tried my best to blog while in Turkey, which wasn't a success as winter happened and you know just how nearly impossible it is to get decent photos during that lovely season, time difference was a huge factor and more importantly I was hardly ever home to sit down for an hour and type up a blog post. Thanks for all your sweet wishes for my trip, it was amazeballs!!!

Now onto some beauty related stuff...If you're wondering, I have only bought a few beauty products in my trip (with the exception of skincare) - a MAC MSF, a NARS blush and a few nail polishes. I thought this would be the perfect time to steer away from this costly addiction. I guess it's safe to say I was on a "beauty ban" :)

I am leaving you with some of my favorite products as of late...

:::Revlon Lip Butters:::

Tutti Frutti, Sweet Tart, Creamsicle, Strawberry Shortcake

I was absolutely bummed out when these beauties made their debut in the U.S. while I was 5000 miles away. So I made a note of the colors I wanted and made them mine as soon as I landed on American soil. I cannot find a single negative thing to say about these lip butters. They are creamy, moisturizing, quite pigmented and have a glossy finish. If I was asked about my favorite, I probably couldn't come up with an answer, they are all so pretty!

Top-Bottom: Tutti Frutti, Sweet Tart, Creamsicle, Strawberry Shortcake

:::Pastel Nail Polishes:::

Top-Bottom: Essie Splash of Grenadine, CG Re-fresh mint, Revlon Blue Lagoon,  CG Peachy Keen, Essie Van'd Go

There is nothing I like more than pastel nails during spring, here are some of my absolute favorites for the season! Splash of Grenadine isn't exactly pastel, but it's one I frequent a lot during spring :)

:::Random New Treats:::

L-R: Shiseido BR306, YSL Dewy Papaya, Soleil Tan De Chanel
I finally got my hands on Soleil Tan de Chanel one night browsing Nordstrom's website. I couldn't even believe it was in stock (because it was eternally out of stock!) so I grabbed one quickly. I had to wait 4 months to actually wear it but oh well! It's really as amazing as I thought it would be. It may be the queen of all bronzers out there. Lately, I've been into cream eye shadows and wanted to branch out from MAC paint pots to try something new. At the duty free I went with a Shiseido one in color BR306. It's a gorgeous metallic reddish brown with silver micro glitter. And then, there was the YSL counter in all its glory! I just couldn't pass it up. I especially love their lip products and had been wanting to try their Volupte Sheer Candy, I picked up #2 Dewy Papaya. It is sheer with only a bit of color but has a glossy finish and is very moisturizing which is exactly what I look for in lip products in warmer summer months.

That's all from me for now, hope you enjoy!

Happy weekend! <3

  1. I'm so glad to see you're back! I'm still going back and forth about the soleil tan de chanel. I can't decide if it's worth it or not! I don't want to buy a $50 bronzer if I'm not going to absolutely love it!

  19. I love it and nope it does not crease on me. I actually took a very big risk buying this at the duty free because I had never done a research on these cream shadows beforehand but luckily they don't crease on me :) Plus I don't have very oily eyelids, so I guess that kinda helps :)
