While going through my stash the other day, I have realized that I have never done a post on my favorite NYX round lipsticks. So today's post is all about them!
Pros:
Selection - I assume they have close to 70 shades, if not more
Texture - They are very creamy and moisturizing
Finish - Glossy, therefore no need for lipgloss

Affordability - $3.99 at Ulta, can be found on sale for cheaper prices online
Availability - Easily accessible at Ulta (online and in stores) Cherryculture and NYX website

Cons:
Some shades aren't very long-lasting
Majority of them have an almost plastic kind of scent
Circe - Brown based nude (dupe for Viva Glam Gaga 2)

What are your favorite NYX lipsticks/products?
Indian Pink is my favorite shade! I have a ton of NYX lipsticks, and they are amongst some of the best. Have you tried the black label ones? I love those as well!

Can you pls suggest some NYX lipsticks which look good on olive skin tones?
ReplyDeleteI wound up buying heaps of the Mega Shine Glosses; a lot of them are super-pigmented and they have a not unpleasant cherry smell and last a long time. Have you tried them? They're slightly pricier, about $6, I think.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 of these round lipsticks, but totally picked the wrong shades. I love Viva Glam Gaga 2 so maybe Circe is a great reason to retry NYX lipsticks.
ReplyDeleteI love their Black Label Lipsticks even more. I just think the formula is better, but for the price...the round lipsticks aren't bad at all! It's just so easy to go overboard when purchasing because they're so cheap and there's so many colors to choose from!

I LOVE that you did this post! I just did a NYX eyeshadow post yesterday and was asking for more NYX products to try. I do have a few of their round lipsticks (Summer Love, Circe, Indian Pink) and LOVE them, I'm so glad to see more swatches. NYX is difficult to find where I live but I can always order online if I know what I'm after!

ReplyDeleteOh thanks for the swatches. I always want to buy some from Cherry Culture when they have a sale. I don't have Ulta by me and they only sell the Diamond version but these are much prettier and cuter. Tea Rose looks perfect!

i love narcissus - i need a barbie pink!!!!! i also love harmonica- i have tokyo matte lip cream from nyx which is very similar - i also have summer love and it is supposed to be nude but i am way to light for it so it comes off as a metallic gross brownish color on my lips- kaka it looks pretty on you! ooh and i like the orange soda- pretty

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, it's so easy to pick the wrong shades because we don't get to test them beforehand. They are exactly the same color, it'd save you a lot of money!
